Junior Attorney - Johannesburg

Job Purpose:

  • Provide comprehensive legal support focused on business and entrepreneurial law.
  • Contribute to both legal and non-legal projects within a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Ensure high-quality drafting and review of commercial contracts, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide expert consultation on labour law best practices, regulatory compliance, and basic dispute resolution.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, and lead training sessions and presentations.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:
  • LLB. (BCom or LLM qualifications are advantageous)
Experience:
  • Admission as an attorney
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programmes
  • Business knowledge advantageous

Key Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of commercial and corporate law, with proficiency in drafting agreements and legal documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently and liaise effectively with clients.
