Junior Inventory/Financial Administrator - Fourways - Johannesburg
Introduction
Our Client in the Beverage industry is seeking a Junior Inventory/Financial Administrator to assist with various financial tasks within an organization
This role requires a person who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent communication skills. They should also have a good understanding of inventory management practices and be able to use relevant software for managing inventory. The role may also require the person to liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate stock reconciliation of all storage locations on a daily basis.
- Prepare KPI reports.
- Ensure product availability at all locations always.
- Assisting with GRV’s on finished goods and raw materials.
- In charge of coordinating weekly cycle counts at all locations.
- Responsible for real-time updates of Syspro transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including cycle counts.
- Inform logistics manager about all stock situations/issues for necessary actions to be taken when needed.
- Reconciling and capturing the bank.
- Invoicing dispatched invoices to customers
- Assisting with overflow on accounts payable.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an Inventory/Warehouse Management environment working in Inventory Control (Preferred).
- Ability to perform (root cause) analyses.
- PC literate with ADVANCED Excel Skills (non-negotiable).
- Ability to organize workload.
- Excellent communication skills (Excellent English language).
- Ideally to be in possession or studying towards a related tertiary education qualification (BCom Finance, Accounting)
- Analytical thinking ability
