Lodge Manager - South Africa

Candidate requirements:
  • A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is essential
  • Previous experience in a Lodge Management or Assistant Management role
  • A driver's licence and PDP is essential
  • A guiding qualification would be advantageous
  • Must have experience in a 5-star environment
  • Must be able to manage a team of 11 including creating a positive team culture, supervision, and discipline should it be necessary
  • Good problem-solving and decision making
  • Must be prepared to host at night
  • Passionate about creating and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
  • Knowledge of front and back of house operational requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent administration and computer skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Must be hands on
