Productivity Diagnose and solve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and other faults. Management of team - Understand and coordinate workloads, tea break and lunch time. 2. Efficiency Using time effectively to conduct work tasks effectively including 3rd party stakeholders. Be involved with external/3rd party maintenance contractors. 3. Capacity use To achieve optimal availability of machines running daily. 4. Preventive Maintenance Identify/perform preventative maintenance tasks and maintenance tasks. 5. Planned Maintenance Coordinate maintenance programs on all equipment, including printers to reduce machinery downtime. To ensure planned machine maintenance is conducted as scheduled and according to manufacturer guidelines and documented accordingly. 6. Breakdowns Attend promptly to machine stoppages or breakdowns and maintenance. 7. Production Plan Receive and comply with planning requirements. 8. Timeliness Maintenance tasks are completed effectively in a timely manner. 9. Process Efficiency Manage and review maintenance parameters and address deviations Oversee that appropriate processes are utilized to ensure high productivity. Lead the creation and implementation of maintenance improvements, machine optimization and maintenance systems for the manufacturing process. 10. Growth & Development Identification of training needs for the processing staff. Induct new employees. 11. Employee Relations Encouraging employee engagement / Improving workplace communication / Respond to issues and concerns. Mentoring employees where and when necessary. 12. Time & Attendance Absenteeism & Late Coming - Controlled and appropriate action taken. 13. Quality & Food Safety Continuously promote and maintain a mature food safety and quality culture. Report any food safety issues, security breaches, attempts at product tampering or contamination, and/or other suspicious behavior observed immediately. 14. Workflow Management Provide clear and define responsibilities to maintenance team at the begin of the shift. Manage and coordinate communication between floor, operations, processing, and planning. / Lead and manage workload requirements of the day 15. Housekeeping Drive employees results in the facility by instilling continuous improvement and excellence in operating and usage of equipment and housekeeping practices. 16. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure correct PPE are worn. Oversee safe use of equipment and review preventative maintenance. 17. Reporting Prepare reports on performance and progress. 18. Operational Meetings Lead maintenance meeting daily. To ensure departmental meetings are conducted at least once per month and attending of meeting scheduled. 19. Operational Processes Managing and reducing process variations enhancing operational efficiency while reducing waste. Ensuring mandatory documentation is maintained and gathered daily, weekly, quarterly, and annually as required. 20. Continuous improvement To ensure continuous process improvement initiative are implemented throughout the year. Requirements and Skills • Trade Tested (Electrician / Millwright / Fitter & Turner etc) • Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role • Experience in planning maintenance operations. • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc. • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment • Ability to keep track of and report on activity. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
