Reference: JHB003169-RD-1 Our Client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team Area/Location: Germiston Position Overview: As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of artisans and managing the maintenance of all industrial machinery within our client's facility. Your expertise will drive the efficiency and reliability of our production processes, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum output. Maintenance Manager Specification: Preferably within 30 min radius from residence, in order to attend to breakdowns in the Factory after hours Minimum 5 Years' experience as Maintenance Manager in the Manufacturing Sector. Experience in PLC fault finding is mandatory Proven "Red Seal" Millwright with a minimum N5 qualification in Power Machines, Electrotechnics and Mechanotechnics. Experience / Training in ISO 9001 (The company is audited by SABS and the Maintenance Department is extensively audited) Proven experience in Maintenance Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities Experience with JM form rolling machines will be an advantage Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate a team of skilled artisans in the maintenance department. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of machinery to identify potential issues. Oversee repairs, installations, and upgrades of equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machinery performance. Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies. Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Trade tested electromechanician or Millwright Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies to meet operational goals. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Problem-solving mind-set with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
