Our client in the FMCG manufaxturing sector is looking for a maintenance manager with 3 – 5 Years work experience as a Maintenance manager in a manufacturing environment. The main purpose of the role is to maintain, service and repair all factory machinery and equipment. Conduct factory maintenance, and all current machinery and plant installations from both a mechanical and electrical perspective. Interact with the Factory Manager and other departmental heads to provide the needed and expected level of service Provide leadership to the maintenance team/personnel Ensure the Maintenance team provides support of the safety, quality and productivity goals of the plant Arrange service providers and outside contractors where necessary, and monitor their outcomes and performance Maintain an adequate stock of relevant machine spares Complete various factory projects and installations to scope of work Order raw materials for jobs Designs and builds various prototypes Assess the standard of all work completed Inspection of building and maintenance Ensures that all work in executed to the correct safety standards Supervisors the work of the maintenance and cleaning team Attends to plant and machinery break downs Reviews and monitors of jobs completed by the maintenance team, and reviews timesheets Preventative maintenance planning Controlling of Job Cards Proven 3 – 5 Years work experience as a Maintenance manager in a manufacturing environment Relevant qualification (Diploma / Degree) Be knowledgeable of safety, quality and productivity processes and systems A hands-on individual with a broad understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance including breakdown, predictive and preventative maintenance. An FMCG or manufacturing background would be ideal. Computer Literacy in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
