Maintenance Manager / Snr. Millwright - Midrand
Purpose of this position is to:- Plan, execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities effectively.
Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to make sure employer property like buildings and grounds are kept up
Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues
Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff
Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
Manage the set up and take down of different events
Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues
Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff
Contact and schedule repairmen and extra help as needed
Perform administrative tasks as required
Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs
Plan and implement preventative and corrective maintenance programs by using daily job cards.
Follow up on maintenance work done and report defects to Engineering Executive.
Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all machineries.
Respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
Ensure that the above duties are conducted in Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations requirements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation as well as policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Ensure compliance with Manufacturing and relevant Safety Legislation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour legislation and OHS.
Responsible for quotations, requisitions, ordering and collection of materials and spares.
Maintains appropriate service and repair records.
Manage maintenance staff with regards to leave, attendance registers and wages.
The efficient fulfilment of the function.
Adhere to Housekeeping, safety standards, bio security and personal hygiene at all times.
Any other reasonable duties that may be required by your superior from time to time.
Qualifications:
Matric
Millwright or related qualification.
Ability to create a maintenance schedule, Ability to troubleshoot, Knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained, Knowledge of maintenance procedures, Knowledge of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical, roofing, pool), Ability to lift heavy loads, Physical agility, Manual dexterity, Management experience is preferred, Experience in maintenance is required, Apply Now
