Asset and Plant Maintenance Manager (Millwright) - Gauteng The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing plant maintenance, encompassing both preventative and corrective measures, to ensure reliability and optimal functionality of machinery and equipment. Leading a team of two fitters, the Asset Manager will manage a diverse range of machines, including CNC lathes, CNC multi-tasking machines, CNC boring mills, cylindrical grinding, internal grinding, vertical boring mills, welding, cutting, lathes, horizontal boring mills, milling, fettling, threading, compressors, generators, lifting equipment, and facility equipment. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of machine tools, hydraulics, electrics, electronics, and mechanics. Duties & responsibilities Maintenance Oversight Team Management Equipment Expertise Hydraulics, Electrics, Electronics, and Mechanics Equipment Efficiency Record Keeping Machining Assembly Process Oversight Quality Control Process Improvement Communication and Coordination Qualifications & Skills Matric or NQF equivalent Qualified Millwright 10 years' Machine tool Maintenance experience Conversant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, GCC preferable Strong computer literacy skills Good organisational and record keeping abilityISO 9001 implementation and reporting experience integrating into My SHEQ. Experience: Maintenance / Asset Management: 5 years (Required) Monthly Salary: R25000 - R2000000
