We are a leading Automotive Component Manufacturing company. We have a vacancy for a Millwright , to be based at our Manufacturing plant in Spartan, Gauteng. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure good housekeeping and safety are maintained at a high standard. Observe Company Rules and Regulations and Quality Management Systems, at all times. Ensure that all machines/equipment are correctly maintained at all times. Ensure that quality workmanship is carried out at all times. Bring to the attention of your direct Manager, any problems or concerns that you cannot resolve at your level. Repair and maintain electronic and mechanical aspects of various equipment and machines such as CNC and NC machines; logic and micro-processors; PLC systems, AC and DC drives; synchro and servomechanisms etc. Install and maintain heavy machinery. Maintenance on production machines, electrically driven machines and electronic control gear. Electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic work involving the dismantling, fault detection, repairing and in some cases manufacturing of parts, as well as the maintenance, reconstruction and installation of machinery. Electrical installations – you will be required to dismantle electric motors, test them, check their wiring and determine their power output and consumption. Have own transport and be available to work overtime, call outs and shifts if required to do so. Carry out any reasonable instruction issued by a senior or manager. SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Ensure that all safety Rules and Regulations are adhered to in the workplace. Ensure that best practices are applied to ensure employee. Participate in SHE meetings. Ensure that all environmental procedures are adhered to and that all employees are familiar with the applicable MSD's (Material Safety Data Sheets) in their respective work areas. You must comply with all Safety, Health and Environmental requirements, including the wearing of protective clothing issued to you. Qualification/s and Experience Matric Certificate / Grade 12. Qualified Millwright. Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the relevant field of work. Previous work experience on CNC machine tools, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenheimer controls and Electronics would be advantageous. Competencies Must be able to work under pressure. Must be prepared to work independently and overtime on short notice. Good communication skills. Basic Salary inclusive of Provident Fund and Medical Aid contributions
