Implement quarterly updates and record changes to the overall budgeted NPAT. Facilitate the achievement of budgetary targets. Management Accounts: Prepare, present, and analyze monthly Management Accounts within 10 business days from the month's end. Include comprehensive income statements, financial position statements, trial balance, fixed asset register, loan schedule, and related monthly journals. Stock Management: Report, analyze, and resolve stock count variances. Design and implement stock control procedures to prevent future variances. Personnel Management: Manage financial function personnel, including planning workflow and delegating specific activities. Conduct regular meetings to ensure deliverables are met. Audit Preparation: Prepare accounts for audit purposes. Communicate with auditors to provide necessary information for timely and accurate audits within three months of the financial year-end. Cash Position Reporting: Maintain and report the company's cash position daily to the Managing Director and monthly to the Board of Directors. Design and implement cash control procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and errors. Financial Analysis: Assist with the analysis of financing and investment proposals. Prepare financial information and analysis to support decision-making. System Maintenance: Design and maintain the Inventory System and Financial Reporting System. Engage with factories to implement and improve system quality. IT Infrastructure: Design and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware and software. Pricing and Recipe Management: Design and maintain pricing and recipe sheets. Perform monthly product pricing and ensure pricing controls are embedded in the IT system. Strategic Objectives: Collaborate with the Managing Director on financial strategic objectives to enhance financial performance. SARS Compliance: Submit all relevant SARS documents timely, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Handle follow-ups and provide requested documentation within prescribed periods. Customer Engagement: Ensure timely payment of customer debts. Vet new customers and provide feasibility recommendations. Supplier Payments: Ensure timely payment of suppliers and service providers. Design and implement audit checklists for payment validation. Reconciliation Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis of Debtors and Creditors reconciliations. Resolve differences between supplier and debtor statements and manage internal stock transfer reconciliations.
