The Manager Marketing/Activation position is pivotal in driving client engagement, business development, and the successful execution of consulting projects within the regional office. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational leadership, and client relationship management skills. Tender Administration Ensure that tender documents are completed and accurate. Maintain accurate records electronic copies of completed documents. Searching for relevant tenders on various platforms. Ensure the bid process is followed. Coordinate collection of tender documents and ensure submissions are made on time Organize and schedule meetings. Develop/maintain a filing system. Client Engagement Develop and retain strong relationships with key clients within the region. Act as a trusted advisor, identifying client needs and objectives to tailor consulting solutions effectively. Lead client workshops, presentations, and meetings to drive understanding and buy-in for proposed strategies. Business Development Collaborate with the regional leadership team to develop and execute the business development strategy. Identify new opportunities for client engagement and revenue generation within the region. Lead the preparation of proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business. Project Execution Oversee the successful delivery of consulting projects within the region, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams, helping them navigate challenges and achieve project objectives. Project timelines, budgets, and resources monitoring to ensure efficient execution. Team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing team of consultants. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence. Ensure mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities are provided to team members. Promote a positive, inclusive work environment encouraging growth and career progression. Market Analysis and Insights Keep pace with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the region. Handle market analysis and research to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats. Translate insights into actionable recommendations to drive business growth and innovation. A postgraduate Degree in Marketing, Sales, business administration, operations management, project management, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in management consulting or marketing and sales activation, with a track record of successfully leading client engagements and driving business growth. Excellent strategic thinking ability and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel for client meetings, workshops, and project engagements. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and business needs. Commitment to upholding the organisation's integrity, professionalism, and client-centricity values. articulate ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels. Effective leadership and team-building abilities, focusing on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
