Matric or equivalent with tertiary qualification in Business, Operations, or related field. 5 years middle management experience in crane and rigging environment. Proven track record of 3-5 years' project management experience in the same or similar field Professional Registration as Lifting Machine Inspector or Rigger advantageous Participate in decision making at the Business Unit MANCO meetings. Management of operations related to craneage, including allocation and distribution of operators, team leaders & LMI's nationally. Participate in all transport audits. Carry out special projects and other duties as directed by his/her superior. Project management of shutdowns and larger projects. Management of expenses relating to operators and crane legislative requirements. Regular branch visits, ensuring effective operations at all branches/sites. Liaise with suppliers to ensure the best quality product / service and price. Ensure all new operations employment is in line with the group EE plan and training is undertaken by staff. Proxy for company vehicles, manage legislative requirements including AV's and principal approval and eNatis. Manage corrective and preventive management system to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
