This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of technical support and customer service. Respond to incoming calls and emails from clients regarding technical issues and authorization requests Provide expert advice and support on mechanical and technical matters related to fleet vehicles Review and authorize repair and maintenance work based on technical assessments Maintain accurate records of all communications and authorizations in the company database Liaise with service providers, mechanics, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations Provide regular reports on call center activities, issues resolved, and outstanding matters Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members Mechanical/Automotive Red Seal Qualification (mandatory) Proven experience in a technical or mechanical role, preferably within the automotive or fleet management industry Previous experience in a call center environment is highly advantageous Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in computer systems and call center software Ability to speak clearly and effectively Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude EE Disclaimer: Kindly note that all positions will be filled in accordance with the Company's Employment Equity plan.
