JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS)
- N3 Engineering
- Trade tested Millwright
- 3-5 years proven experience as a Millwright within the foods industry
- General milling and turning experience
- Knowledge of boilers and air compressors
- Basic welding pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience in Meat processing equipment will be an advantage
- Ability to read machine blue print
- Ability to work unsupervised
- In-depth mechanical skills
- Trouble shooting and problem- solving skills
- Analytical skills
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS)
- Ensure the leanest operation
- Installing and disassembling machinery
- Repairing and replacing defective machine part.
- Reading and implementing instruction on assembling machinery
- Using heavy machinery to move machinery or part.
- Communicating with other employees regarding the status of different machinery
- Ensuring machines work properly.
- Must be willing and be able to work overtime as and when required.
- Must have experience in CNMMs
- Supervising mechanical workshop staff
- Providing basic training for employees as needed.
- Evaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the machinery.
- Inspecting the assets frequently for signs of damage or wear
- Effective control of all resources at your disposal
- Assisting with emergency response and evacuations
- Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs
