Our client in The Netherlands is looking for Red Seal Trade Tested Millwrights looking to relocate with a valid South African passport . They are offering a 2-year working visa, good earnings, flights, furnished accommodation etc. for those candidates who are successful. We are ideally looking for candidates who can speak basic Dutch / or fluent Afrikaans (and willing to learn Dutch). Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications. Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to identify and address potential issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in mechanical systems and components. Repair or replace defective parts, such as bearings, gears, belts, and other mechanical components. Perform welding and fabrication tasks to modify or repair equipment and structures. Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications to fabricate components. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of machinery. Take measurements to identify wear and determine the need for replacement parts. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and report potential safety hazards and participate in safety training programs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Create and update equipment manuals, logs, and documentation. Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Perform rigging tasks to move heavy machinery into position. Use cranes and other lifting equipment to handle large components. Red Seal Trade Tested Millwright. At least 2 years experience in relevant trade. Knowledge of the standard practices of the trade, tools/equipment used, and proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
