Key Performance Areas

Platform Administration
  • Maintain the site in terms of setting up its theme, courses, modules, users, settings and policies
  • Conduct system maintenance (version upgrades, plugin installations) to ensure optimal performance and usability
Platform Improvements
  • Moodle upgrades and plugins
  • Improvement initiatives by liaising with internal business users to adequately understand, develop, test, train and implement site improvements
Site Development
  • Undertake technical (PHP ,CSS, Javascript / JQuery/ AJAX / AngularJS and HTML) development initiatives to enhance the platform and work with the Senior PHP developer
  • Setup of site analytics and Power BI reporting
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with all internal stakeholders to ensure adequate site functioning and use, and identify improvements
  • Address and resolve technical and site issues raised by internal users to improve site efficiencies
Ownership of the Platform
  • Be open to honest constructive criticism and suggested improvements
  • Ensure data integrity and liaise with the LMS Solutions Analyst to ensure that all environments are secure.
Moodle Platform
  • Moodle (setup ,customization and version updates)
  • Plugin Management
  • Gradebook setup
  • Restrictions and restriction sets
Requirements
Minimum three years experience in LMS administration (Moodle)
Bachelor in Computer Science or a related degree will be beneficial Apply Now
