Our Client: A private distance learning college based in Stellenbosch, South Africa. It was founded in 1997, to help address the skills shortage in the South African job market. Our Academy also offers courses to students internationally, but the majority of their students are situated in southern Africa. Purpose: The New Business Development Manager: Corporate Sales is required to identify, acquire, propose and close new partnerships and sales growth and targets with new clients. Have the capacity to maintain and grow the existing clients and offer them service delivery according to our Customer and Brand journey. Key Responsibilities: • Create, drive and Build New Clients and grow existing clients. • Candidate must have an existing network and call book that they bring to the role • Identify opportunities and generate sales in the corporate sector. • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets as set by the business. • Market Research and understand the sector with the aim to grow it with firm business analysis. • Provide end to end Business and Customer support to both existing and prospective customers. • Manage and be accountable for the customer queries and act as the Account Manager for the Corporate Client Portfolio • Maintain a level of Product Knowledge determined by the business to understand our end-to-end portfolio. • Work with key teams to enhance the Customer experience, through liaison with Marketing, Sales, Fees, Support and Academics and look to develop mutually beneficial proposals. • Strong Presentation skills that is influential and persuasive to deliver to key executives and on management level. • Prepare proposals, scan tenders and oversee the life journey of the customer from onboarding, maintenance, new business till exit. • Prepare finance models in collaboration with the finance team. • Networking and relationship management across the business, products and corporate in general • Manage all action leads received and create own leads through marketing and business development initiatives. • Administration and Systems: o Compile weekly and monthly reports as needed for all the activity on the portfolio. o All administration functions required of the role including excellent presentations and slide deck to Corporate Clients. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business / Marketing / Sales. • Sales Training Focused on Corporate Business a must. • Selling Techniques and Tools Training. Experience: • 5-7 years' experience in selling corporate packages/ products or services (A must). • BEEE Scorecard and Skills Development Training Experience • Strong relationships with different stakeholders including the SETAs. • You must have worked in a target driven sales business environment. Knowledge and skills: • Results Orientated • Negotiation skills • Professional demeanour • Strong Emotional Intelligence, resilience and Mindset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong Presentation Skills that are persuasive and influential on executive level • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) at a basic level • Ability to work well under pressure • Self-motivated and self-disciplined • Good problem-solving techniques • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to work in an open plan environment. • Willing and able to work extra hours, outside normal business hours as and when required. Additional Requirements: • Willing to work a full 45 hours week - (Monday – Friday) • Own car and willing to travel to clients where applicable. • Experience in the Education & Training Sector is a must. • Ability to travel easy to Stellenbosch, where our campus is situated. • Clear criminal and credit record • Fluent English Salary – Highly negotiable – Based on experience, skills & in relation to your current package.
