My client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Clerk to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional support to their staff.

This is a 3-month contract role based in Springs, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: Transact payroll information by collecting, calculating, and accurately capturing data.
Compliance and Procedures: Ensure processes are followed at all times and compliance with company delegation of authority.
Employee Records: Maintain and update employee records on the payroll system as per approved requests.
Enquiry Resolution: Resolve first-line enquiries timeously and effectively; ensure footprint cases are resolved within the service level agreement.
Filing and Documentation: Maintain a filing system; print and distribute payslips on a weekly/monthly basis.
Leave Management: Capture leave forms and conduct leave audits.
Project Participation: Participate and/or manage any project that is initiated in SSC, providing team or individual input as required.
Customer Liaison: Liaise with all customers when required to provide payroll-related assistance.
Ad Hoc Duties: Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within the reasonable job scope.
