PROCUREMENT CLERK / EAST LONDON

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12

Highly proficient in Pastel

Highly proficient (advanced) in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas etc.)

Strong communication skills

Ability to work fast and efficiently

Independent thinking

Minimum 2-3 Years’ experience in a similar position

LIST OF DUTIES:

Costings of stock- replacement costs for pricelists- presenting costing to Imports manager for approval, costings to be used for customer quotes – this includes getting estimates from clearing agents and suppliers as well as any additional expenses and quantifying cost of goods.

Costing of goods transferred internally between branches

Dealing with prices from suppliers alongside imports manager

Placing of orders with suppliers – checking supplier sales orders/proformas against our purchase orders, querying any irregularities – then presenting to sales person for approval – then sending signed and approved orders through to suppliers

Updating imports schedules with new orders and assigning correct internal reference number

Checking pricing on commercial invoices received from supplier against purchase orders and sales orders once checked and all in order passing on to logistics controller

Checking pre QC reports & sending to technical manager for approval

Checking QC reports from branches and sending onto technical manager for approval

Salary – Market related depending on experience
