Procurement Manager - Pretoria

Duties

  • Developing specifications and requirements for products and services the business purchases
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the procurement, including purchasing, of materials.
  • Prepare and analyse procurement performance reports, including sales, inventory, and expenses.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Compliance with all ISO requirements.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures. Familiarity with steel industry products, materials, and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications Procurement Manager
