Duties
- Developing specifications and requirements for products and services the business purchases
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the procurement, including purchasing, of materials.
- Prepare and analyse procurement performance reports, including sales, inventory, and expenses.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Compliance with all ISO requirements.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures. Familiarity with steel industry products, materials, and production processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
