BSc in Food Science. 2 years' relevant experience in the food industry. Willing to travel. Valid driver's license. Location: Cape Town/Gauteng/George Description: A leading provider of innovative and high-quality equipment solutions for the meat processing industry requires a Product Application Specialist to join their team. Key duties will include: •Product application trials on new products •Development of products and new markets •Customer training •On-site testing and evaluation of products as required by clients •New product development for butchers and large factories in the interests of generating new markets •Liaising with customers along with Senior Food Technologists •Technical advisory services to butchers including consulting on product quality, production capacities and efficiencies •Implementation of quality control/assurance systems in order to increase production output and shelf life of products •Researching potential new markets for new business •Analyzing and reporting on sales leads linked to clients Key Requirements: BSc in Food Science/Food Technology. 2 years' relevant work experience. Valid driver's license and own transport. Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans. Additional Requirements: Customer focused, team orientated, adaptable and responsive to change, resilient, able to take initiative. Starting date: As soon as possible.
