Reference: CPT004972-LN-1 A leading international manufacturer in the Food and Beverage industry , based in Cape Winelands, is searching for a Recipe Desk Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be tasked with optimizing internal recipes for existing BOMs and managing raw material reworks. Additionally, you will facilitate the transfer of recipes from Germany to the local production sit. Requirements: A degree or diploma in Food Science /Food Technology. 3-5 years' experience working as a Food Scientist/Technologist. SAP experience (Essential). Excel skills (Essential) Responsibilities: Test recipes to cut costs and reduce raw material use. Independently conduct recipe trials. Implement and adapt new recipes. Update product data in SAP. Simplify recipes by using fewer ingredients. Select and optimize raw materials for cost and availability. Perform physical, chemical, and visual testing on products. Test product stability and shelf-life. Work with Production on recipe changes. Coordinate with the Sales team as needed. Maintain SAP records for recipe updates. Manage equipment, including scale testing and calibration.
