Production Plant Engineer - South Africa
Our client is looking for an innovative Manufacturing / Production Plant Engineer to join their organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing production systems for the factory. Engineering knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to optimise production processes for maximum efficiency are necessary skills for this role. Requirements: 5 years experience in planning and designing processes in a manufacturing environment Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree is preferred, or BTec Professional Level 5 Membership of an industry related professional body would be advantageous Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD In depth knowledge and experience of, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma Experience in New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production Experience managing a team Duties include improving manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout. Analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management.
