Project Coordinator - Sandton

Key requirement
  • Project management qualification
  • Marketing or Sales diploma beneficial
  • 3-5 years experience as Internal sales within a similar environment
  • 3-5 years proven experience within a project's environment
  • 3-5 years in the valve, automation and control industry
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and advance MS Excel
  • Familiar with MS Projects software and AutoCad or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of all sales policies and procedures
  • In-depth understanding of the project coordination process
  • Read and understand technical drawings

Key responsibility
  • Ensure accurate information at all times throughout the project coordination process
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the project coordination process, optimize process
  • Prepare, design control and maintain accurate relevant documentation
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Manage project scope changes
  • Manage customers' needs/requirements and expectations
  • Support inside sales
  • Compiling sales quotations (using pricelist/costing model)
  • Collaborate with finance with regards to bonds and guarantees
