This role requires a high level of precision, technical expertise, and the ability to work with complex mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Assembly and Installation: Assemble and fit machine tools and components according to technical drawings and specifications. Install machine tools on-site, ensuring they are correctly positioned and aligned. Maintenance and Servicing: Conduct regular maintenance checks on machine tools to prevent breakdowns. Lubricate, clean, and adjust machine tools to maintain optimal performance. Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults and determine the necessary repair procedures. Repair or replace faulty components, including gears, bearings, and hydraulic systems. Testing and Calibration: Test machine tools after installation or repair to ensure they operate correctly and meet quality standards. Calibrate machine tools to ensure precision and accuracy in their operations. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Computer Software : CCMS SAP Certifications: Relevant certifications in mechanical fitting, machining, or maintenance engineering are advantageous.
