Our national manufacturing client is looking for a Site Safety Health Evironment and Quality Partner for their operations in Killarney Gardens in the Western Cape . The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk for the site's operations by collecting data on work environments for analysis. Implement and conduct evaluation of programs designed to limit chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks to workers. Improvement / Innovation Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program. Involves working with guidance from senior colleagues. Needs Assessment Uncover emerging issues or needs, identifying potential causes, barriers and key stakeholders as well as related issues Policy Development & Implementation Develop procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the site on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the site of responsibility. Solutions Analysis Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs. Project Management Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan. Work Scheduling and Allocation Assign short-term work schedules to a multi-disciplinary functions in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines. Audit Work within established systems to deliver specified outcomes or provide general support within a specialized area of audit control. Audit Compliance Plan and manage the delivery of an audit program at the site of responsibility, ensuring that it addresses identified risk areas. Monitor the closeout of audit findings to ensure that agreed corrective actions are implemented and that risks are managed effectively; refer major issues or inadequate responses through the management line. Health, Safety and Environment Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve these, escalating serious issues as appropriate. Qualifications: University (First degree) in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and or Chemical Engineering General Experience: Should have experience in HSE Auditing, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, behaviour based safety programs, Process Safety Management. Should have Over 5 years to 7 working experience years. Valid code 8 driver's license. Experience in the Construction and Building Industry would be highly beneficial to your application. Apply Now
