Required skills and competencies: • Experience in a commercial group treasury environment preferred but not essential; • Passionate about financial management and analytical, with an eye for detail; • Comfortable with a complex Group structure and able to understand entire perspective; • Technically strong and up to date with IFRS and sound working knowledge of taxation; • Able to process through large volumes of data and analyse for meaningful input; • Skilled communicator – both verbal and written at all levels both inside and outside the company; • Ability to independently carry out various ad hoc duties as required from time to time; • Able to work proficiently in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; • Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving on a daily basis; • Ability to deliver quality output under high pressure and ever-changing situations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist with quarterly audit & risk committee reporting; • Corporate Governance and reporting on compliance as required (i.e. King IV); • Involved in all banking related matters from a group perspective; • Assist with Integrated Annual Report and collation of divisional information; • Monthly and quarterly finance cost calculations for the Group; • Daily and monthly treasury related functions and ad-hoc requirements; • Authorisation of transfers and payments on a daily basis; • Forecasts/budgets of debt and finance cost plus monthly cash reporting; • Financial analysis and review of management accounts; • Involved with the annual external and internal audit process; • Research and analysis of accounting standards, able to provide technical input and assistance (emerging issues re IFRS, Tax, and Companies Act etc.); • Reporting in terms of lending agreements on a monthly and quarterly basis; • Any ad-hoc projects relating to group reporting and treasury related matters. CA (SA) qualification with one to two years post articles experience Min R70,000 p/m TCTC – Max R85,000 p/m TCTC
