Ensuring safety of other team members and the public. Keeping the machine clean and up to good standard. Setting out all necessary work signs as per the appropriate Traffic Control Plan. Performing any other duties that may be delegated by the supervisor Facilitates routines check-ups on the machine, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air: reports maintenance malfunctions to fleet administrator. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations guidelines, and codes. Maintains records of time worked and materials used. Wear proper PPE (safety) when on site. Grade 12 certificate Valid Roller Operator Compliance Certificate Valid Grader Compliance Certificate At least 2 – 3 years' experience. Extra Heavy Duty Driver's License and PDP is an added advantage. Good interpersonal skills Effective communication skills Must to able to work independently Must adhere to the road and safety regulations. Must be willing travel and work afterhours, weekends and public holidays. Must be able work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. Ability to follow instructions. Able to complete physically demanding work. Ability to climb on, around and out of equipment. Must have physical strength, balance, hand – eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Able to kneel, crouch or crawl in awkward spaces to repair equipment.
