Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients in utilities and smart metering.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Initiate outreach plans via calls, emails, LinkedIn etc.
- Present and demonstrate the value of our SaaS platform to potential clients.
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Establish foundation for our African Market expansion.
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of experience in software sales/implementation, business development, or related role in utilities or smart metering.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient understanding of tech solutions with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel.
