Reference: PTA001353-DP-1Trainee AccountantWe are presently in search of a proficient Trainee Accountant to join a vibrant financial services organisation situated in Menlo Park, Pretoria East. The preferred candidate should either be actively pursuing a SAICA accredited bachelor’s degree or have already completed their Bachelor's Degree. Minimum Requirements Matric. Vehicle and Valid Driver’s License. Completion of a SAICA accredited bachelor’s degree at an approved tertiary institution, or at an advanced stage of completion of a SAICA accredited Bachelor’s degree. Essential: Full computer literacy. Roles and Responsibilities Aid in the improvement and enhancement of Accounting Systems. Offer accounting assistance to operational managers by providing necessary analysis and reports. Gather, organise, and analyse basic accounting and financial data. Implement necessary accounting adjustments via appropriate journal entries. Review financial statements and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards. Input accounting entries using relevant journals. Engage in accounting projects as a proactive team member. Prepare precise accounting information for clients efficiently, adhering to regulations and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) under supervision. Possess familiarity with different accounting standards such as IFRS, FRS101, and Solvency II MVBS. Provide support for fixed income portfolio accounting.
