A leading international company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow its Ground Engaging Tools (G.E.T.) division. This is a newly created role within a rapidly expanding organization, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by taking ownership of a product line and driving it to success. The successful candidate will work with the backing of an established global brand and will have ample scope to shape the division's strategy and operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets for the G.E.T. division. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the mining industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share (across Africa) Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure product offerings meet market demands. Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a Matric qualification, with further studies in either technical fields or sales and marketing. At least 10 years of experience in the Ground Engaging Tools industry. A proven track record of success in sales and business development within the mining sector. Strong network of contacts within the industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
