Admin: Ad-hoc duties Monthly submissions: Statutory submissions to SARS, Provident Fund and Union Accounting / reporting – monthly: Monthly cashbook processing and reconciliation Processing monthly debtors Capture monthly supplier invoices Update supplier invoices captured in pastel Check monthly creditor recons Balance supplier accounts & do necessary offsets Process monthly journals (interest, finance charges, depreciation, credit card, salary & retentions) Balance pastel accounts to project ledger monthly Balance sheet / control account monthly recons Monthly management accounts Auditors: Compile year end info for auditors file Request updated tax clearance for companies – yearly Compile and send information in Aug & Feb for calculation of provisional taxes Payments: Full payment function as required Excel reports: Monthly reports to Management Matric Bcom Accounting / Bcom Finance related degree essential (non-negotiable) Minimum 5 years relevant experience Experience with finance operations within the Plant Hire and Mining Industry would be advantageous Experience with job costing, finance budgets, financial admin and compliance Experience in Pastel Payroll and Sage Pastel Market related salary
