Company seeks a suitable qualified Senior Draughtsperson to join our growing team in Cape Town. Based in Cape Town and reporting to the Drawing Office Manager the successful candidate will produce Arrangements and Detailed Fabrication drawings in accordance with Engineering Design Project Specifications, Industry Norms and Relevant Legislation The tasks you'll perform Be proficient in all aspects of CAD software and to use those skills within the Group defined CAD procedures. Produce Arrangements and Detailed Drawings that are consistent with industry, client and Group standards. Demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Produce drawings within project-defined budgets and deliverables. Mentor team members to ensure company maintain an unsurpassed Design & Draughting reputation throughout the industry and with their clients. The expertise you'll bring Appropriate, relevant Tertiary Qualification. 7 years' proven experience, preferably in an EPCM environment. Cape Town based. South African Citizen or Permanent Resident. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables, within budget and schedule constraints. Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft suite of software packages, including Word, Excel, and Power Point Demonstrate ability to and/or proficiency in the use of specific propriety software packages relevant to the design and drafting discipline. Technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base, preferably in minerals processing plants / infrastructure construction. Ability to achieve budget manhours and milestones deliverable dates. Well-developed written and verbal communication. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a practical approach to problem-solving. Self-motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple, varied tasks while ensuring attention to detail.
