Senior Millwright postion available in the Moulding deparment. To follow up on all maintenance procedures as per PRM14. To ensure that all necessary maintenance is carried out in department. To ensure that all job cards are completed and authorized timeously and according to required standards. Ensure that preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery is carried out according to preventative maintenance program. To fill in daily maintenance inspection report QMF39 and report to Maintenance Foreman all problems observed. To carry out housekeeping according to required standards. If spares are needed, Buyers Requisition must be completed, authorized according to procedure PRM07. To follow up all outstanding Requisitions and ensure that spares are delivered timeously. To contact Foreman if problems occur. Attend daily/monthly meetings with Manager as scheduled to discuss outstanding issues. To ensure that First Aid and Safety Regulations are adhered to when on shift. To see if there is a problem and to act on it. To get personally involved (hands on) in the boiler start up procedures and ensure continuous operation during the production hours as well as all other plant start up procedures including compressors, cooling towers, machines etc. Ensure that all machines are set correctly to be able to produce products fast and to the department quality standards. To be fully competent on machine settings and machine moulding techniques. Do monthly SHEQ inspections as required by Management. To carry out any other tasks as assigned by Management. Secondary Education Matric with maths Tertiary Education (including Diplomas, Certificates and Degrees) Trade Test - Millwright Experience 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment Competencies Knowledge Skills Excellent knowledge regarding maintenance in a manufacturing environment Technical skills, Problem solving skills Other Special Requirements To be able to work under pressure Decision Making Decision making regarding maintenance on a daily basis Accountability Accountable to Maintenance Foreman Communication Good verbal communication skills, as well as written skills R 180 - R200 Per Hour depending on Experience.
