Responsible for the repair, maintenance, disassembling and assembling of molds, refurbish and evaluate molds to determine the root cause of molding issues and ensure improvement to all tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures and fittings for the Injection tools. CNC equipment in line with production to support business objectives. Repair and maintain moulding tools, die repairs. Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the workshop with minimal downtime to aid production. Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales. Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage. Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management. Ensure all work is undertaken to a high quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations. Identify spares requirements and log usage. Operate Crane / lift and lifting equipment. Support of new project tooling from commissioning stages through to start of production. Document and update other work records. Carry out engineering level changes to tools and modifications. Responsible for on-site quality repair and technical guidance. Assist in completing any other tasks assigned by the Manager. Indicators to be assessed: Technical integrity rate of equipment and tooling. Completion rate of tooling repair process card. Education: Technician Diploma or Certificate or equivalent qualification. Professional requirements: Technical knowledge of injection molding and tooling , very fluent in spoken and written English. Experience: More than 5 years of Industrial Injection Machine with more knowledge of mold / tooling repair and maintenance. Skills Requirements: Knowledge of manual controlled machine tools such as( lathes, milling machine, grinding machine ,Jig grinder, power tools and hand tools ) Practical hands-on approach to problem solving. Maintain the highest standards of workmanship at all times Computer Literacy. Knowledge of Engineering measurement. Understanding of engineering drawings. Ability to work on own initiative. Planning and prioritizing activities. Good communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills Analytical skill set Understanding of Health and Safety practices.
