Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Type: Full-Time (Permanent) Working Hours: 8.5 hours/day, Monday – Thursday 08:00 to 16:30; Friday 08:00 to 13:00 Salary: R70k - R80k CTC per month with benefits About the Company: A leading firm in the fire protection industry, specialising in fire sprinkler systems. About the Role: The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing fire protection projects from start to finish. This position involves both site and office work, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role requires effective leadership, client management, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: Oversee fire protection projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management; Coordinate with Contracts Manager and Site Supervisor to achieve project goals; Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns; Mentor and support Contracts Manager and Site Supervisors; Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards; Manage project budgets, invoicing, and variation orders; Source and order tools and equipment required for contracts. Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in the fire sprinkler industry; Proven ability to work independently and solve problems; Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally; Flexibility to travel within South Africa and the SADC region; Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines; Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel as needed. Desired Skills: Strong work ethic and integrity; Proven experience in risk management and problem-solving; Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships; Adaptable to new ways of working and able to follow company policies.
