As a Mechanical Wet & Fire Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing wet and fire protection systems for a range of building projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed designs for wet and fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and fire pumps.
- Prepare calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate wet and fire protection systems into overall project designs.
- Participate in project meetings and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical wet and fire protection design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and NFPA standards.
