Reference: JHB001407-AvH-1 Responsible for the management of the warehouse during own shift, which includes but is not limited to stocking of stock/ products, stock control and records and the timeous loading of trucks according to standard operating procedures, whilst maintaining operational standards and budgetary targets. Requirements: Grade 12 or NQF Level equivalent. Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics. Minimum of 5 years' warehousing experience. Supervisory experience within a poultry abattoir environment. Experience within the FMCG/ Food Industry preferred. Advanced Microsoft office (incl. Advanced Excel). CB - Code B driver's license/ own reliable transport. Willingness to work shift and overtime including on weekends and public holidays. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure trucks are loaded as per GFC policy and procedure. Compilation of necessary documentation including dispatch fracturing and weigh bridge ticket. Daily stock report to management. Stock-take as required by management. Liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products. Ensure cases/ pallets per square meter targets are met. Ensure warehouse layout is optimized through correct placing of stock/ goods. Ensure products are picked and dispatched to ensure delivery schedule times are achieved. Continuous stock-control to limit financial losses. Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained. Demonstrate leadership skills, motivation and conflict resolution. Mentor and coach subordinates. Manage the performance of subordinates and discipline in the workplace.
