Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Daily / or as specified technical service to identified key customer( s) and control of staff according to reporting structures. Control of stock in conjunction with subordinates and interdepartmentally (Usage, forecasts and ordering). Assist identified customer's personnel in the use of our products and organize and conduct line trials / expand our business wherever possible. Liaise with all relevant departments at identified customers and internally to ensure all processes under your control are correctly and efficiently controlled. Testing within specified responsibilities and preparation / circulation of reports / update of SPC graphs / processing of test panels / update trend graphs as specified by management and key customers. Actively participate in the agreed strategies of the company, and undertake any other lawful request made by the company. Undertake all necessary actions/service to ensure continuity of our business and adherence to service contracts / Customer Specific requirement and Product specific requirements. Undertake all required laboratory work within required timing limits and completion of the necessary reports. Undertake all responsibilities as detailed in IATF 16 949 thereby ensuring all specific customer requirements are communicated to the correct departments, and are adhered to on an ongoing basis, and ensure compliance to all other aspects of our QMS. Comply with defined environmental and quality procedures and identify / communicate customer environmental and quality requirements and expectations. Participate in meetings at customers and at company when required and ensure completion of agreed tasks within agreed timeframes. Comply with all SHE activities and strategies and participate in our Near-Miss program. Ensure company documentation deployed at our customers is accurate, maintained and updated at all times and ensure the correct and neat / clean corporate clothing (overalls / jackets) is worn during working hours. Efficient and ongoing communication to Management and staff to ensure excellent information flow. Ensure all equipment utilized is fully serviceable and calibrated according to correct methods and schedules. Strictly adhere to rules and regulations detailed by our customers for contractors deployed within their property. Ensure requirements and input related to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001:2018 and company Responsible Care system relevant to this position are adhered to. A Grade 12 (Matric) Qualification with mathematics as a passed subject Successful completion of a practical and theoretical Surface preparation Metal Pre-Treatment course A Minimum of 1 years' experience in a technician position within a chemical manufacturing industry a similar working environment. Proven experience in achieving the monthly, weekly and daily operational plans. Proven experience in effective participate in cross-functional teams. Basic use of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and Outlook) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Deadline and programme driven and ability to adhere to customer specific time programmes. Work “Shift-work” - The employer shall require the employee to perform work on a regular basis after 23:00 and before 06:00.
