This role is responsible for providing a professional and energetic Administrator to join the Safety Department at one of our respective sites. You will play an essential role in maintaining the safety and health management system. You will provide services and administration to drive the delivery of the mine's health and safety performance targets. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will be required to provide internal client services to key stakeholders coupled with core safety support to drive the team's key performance indicators. In this role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of the site Safety and Health Management system (SHMS) to ensure compliance You will work closely with front line leaders to provide advice in all aspects of health and safety and encourage a proactive safety leadership culture. Develop and implement safety programs and procedures Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Provide safety training and education to employees Investigate accidents and incidents and report findings Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with mining industry regulations Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations Maintain accurate safety records and documentation Implement and ensure maintenance of safety systems, standards and procedures Safety internal and external audits Incident investigations and inquiries Legal compliance and audit reports Analysis reports and accident control register Monitoring of emergency preparedness programmes Check corrective actions status Existing 5 years of experience in an administration or similar role, with comprehensive knowledge of the Mining industry You will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting tasks in a timely manner. Your professional approach and high level of interpersonal communication skills will be instrumental in your success in this role. Tertiary Qualifications in Safety (or a related discipline) desirable Previous Safety experience within mining operations Ability to understand functionality of business systems and extract relevant data for business purposes
