As a Short-Term Insurance broker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and advice to your clients. The ideal candidate should demonstrate eagerness, motivation, attention to detail, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities:
- Achieving a monthly minimum target of R3,500.00 in new business commissions (This target typically entails securing approximately 10 policies per month, with each policy yielding a commission of R350.00)
- Identifying client needs and offering insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements
- Obtaining quotations from a range of insurance providers, including but not limited to Old Mutual, Santam, Discovery, PPS, Rodel, Echelon, Auto & General, Momentum, CIB, CCIRC, King Price, IUM, and Rodel
- Conducting face-to-face discussions with clients to review and discuss insurance quotations
- Providing clients with accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs
- Maintaining a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently achieve monthly targets
- Note: cold calling and lead sourcing are not part of the broker's daily responsibilities; leads are provided through inbound call center agents and liaisons with the life, tax, and billing departments
Minimum Requirements:
- Matriculation certificate.
- RE5 certification.
- Relevant NQF level 4 or 5 qualifications with a minimum of 120 credits
- Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines
- Proven experience in handling both personal and commercial lines
- Own vehicle
- Valid drivers license
- 2 + years experience in a similar role
