Our client, a leading player in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect specializing in Enterprise Networking and Cyber Security. As a Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of our client's efforts to deliver state-of-the-art ICT solutions, working closely with sales teams, service delivery units, and technology partners. Purpose Provide technical expertise in gathering and analyzing customer requirements Recommend fit-for-purpose solutions Assist Sales, Service Delivery, OEM and Partnerships, and other Presales consultants with the development of customer proposals, quotations, and presentations Provide technical pre-sales guidance to promote and sell business solutions for Cyber Security and Enterprise Networking Respond to proposals for enterprise customers, meeting basic requirements and identifying & proposing transformation solutions Key Objectives Accountable for technical validation of solutions proposed to our client's current and proposed customers Liaise with our client's Sales, Service Delivery, and OEMs and Partnership teams Responsible for: Solution Qualification Scorecard (SQS) Solution evaluation and selection Buy vs. build decisions All cost-elements of the solution Early-phase project estimates for business cases High-level designs (HLD) Assist internal teams with HLD and Statement of Work (SoW) activities Work with the wider team on opportunities outside primary responsibilities Technical responsibilities include: Product selection and sizing Complex solution design and multi-vendor integration Facilitating product demonstrations and customer proof of concept engagements Collect ALL pricing elements for solution proposals Lead client teams during Deal Approval Committee (DAC) and Solution Review process Experience Minimum 4-8 years in Enterprise Networking, preferably customer-facing Solution architecture design and implementation experience with: Huawei, Cisco, Aruba, H3C, Meraki, Juniper, Extreme Networks Enterprise Firewall experience with: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, Juniper, Huawei Cyber Security technologies experience: PAM, IAM, CASB (Netskope), NAC, EDR, SIEM/SOC, SASE, WAF, ZTNA, MFA, DDoS, DLP, Mimecast, Sentinel One, N-Able Education Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification BSC Computer Science or equivalent NQF Level Professional Certifications TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT certification advantageous Industry certifications required (all or some): Cisco CCDP, Cisco CCNP, Huawei HSCP-IP Fortinet NSE 4/5, ISC – Certified, Cisco Cyber Security Certified, CompTIA Security Relevant Technical pre-sales certifications in security solutions highly advantageous: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, Sophos, Netskope, Checkpoint MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Sound technical proposal writing skills Attention to detail and timeline-driven response to bid deadlines Ability to work in diverse teams across multiple business areas Proven experience in pre-sales, including RFP's Qualification and SQS completion skills Understanding of RFx documentation Support in Deal Approval Committee (DAC) Responsibility for collecting all pricing elements for customer proposals Professional customer interaction Drive Solution Review process Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills Advanced customer relations management skills Ability to manage service delivery contracts holistically Work under continuous strenuous challenging conditions Knowledge of corporate identity and governance mechanisms Understanding of company policies and procedures Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14000, 18000, 27000, 45000 industry standards High proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office suite, Visio, etc.) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Multi-tasking and independent work capabilities Sound listening skills Valid driver's license with own transport Apply Now
