Our manufacturing client based in Cape Town is looking for a Storeman to join their team. Accept orders at the stores and verify deliveries against the invoice and quality standards. Record any discrepancies regarding returns, price deviations, and over or under deliveries, and report these to the stock controller. Obtain or print the picking list from the Operations Manager or the designated person and issue goods according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Ensure all stock is stored in accordance with safety standards, and that storage areas and equipment are kept clean, maintained, and secure. Participate in monthly stock takes and conduct recounts when necessary. Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare a list of shortages and overages, and communicate this to the Supervisor. Matric. Forklift License. Previous Stores experience within a warehouse environment. ERP knowledge.
