Job Summary: To ensure that Inspections systems are functioning correctly and that all quality control processes are producing the product that meets specified requirements and leads the team. Main Responsibilities (not limited to): •To ensure compliance to defined quality standards •To perform necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met •To ensure calibration of the inspection system is conducted on a regular basis •To compile inspection reports to track waste rates and determine opportunities for improvement •To conduct troubleshooting of inspection system to ensure optimal results •To provide training to Operators on the inspection system •To lead the team through development and performance management •To develop adaptation models for new/revised denominations •To ensure compliance to policies, procedures, processes and relevant legislation. The Preferred Candidate is likely to have: •Grade 12 •Basic Computer Skills •3 years' experience in an inspection related field in the printing industry •Supervisory experience Knowledge and Skills: •BPS (Bank Note Processing System) •Optical Inspection systems •Computer literacy •Policies, procedures and processes •Supervisor Skills •Attention to detail •Analytical Skills •Team Player Internal applicants should apply on the SABN careers portal on the intranet by uploading detailed CV's and copies of qualifications.
