Our client who is a chemical supplier has an opportunity for an energetic individual to join their team in the capacity of a buyer. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Research and identify prospective suppliers which are aligned with companys key objectives
Analyse and understand the supply environments perception towards the organization and the industry
Identify all goods and services necessary for the business to function and meet its overall objectives
Analyse suppliers using various tools in order to understand which are best positioned to support the company in achieving its objectives
Analyze industries and demand trends
Conduct full tender processes, request quotations when necessary
Compare prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions
Other related duties
