Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for the planning, organising, coordination and control of the production of the company to ensure that the highest production standards are maintained at the lowest cost.
- Implement measures to ensure that the various workshops are properly managed and controlled in order to ensure that projected profits margins and growth is achieved.
- Provide controls to ensure that the Companys Production resources are correctly allocated, utilised and directed towards providing quality products that meet contract requirements and project delivery dates.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering
Skills
- 5 10 years in a production environment overseeing the production facility from a design, planning and operating perspective.
- Exposed to business planning.
- Good general knowledge of pump applications, pump fundamentals, pumps operations and pump components.
- Product and material knowledge, Metallurgy experience an advantage.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.
