Warehouse Manager - Montague Gardens

The role would be suited to a hands-on Manager who is passionate about continuous improvement & has a track record of successfully managing inventory, people, processes & systems! Strong leadership skills needed to manage a small & diverse team.

Some responsibilities will include:

Manage the efficient receipt, storage & dispatch of a wide range of goods from the warehouse
Ensure compliance with company standards
Performing weekly cycle counts & investigate any inventory losses
Supervise, train & coach the Warehouse team & ensure collaborative team effort at all times
Facilitate effective communication within the team & across the site
Complete daily & weekly reports for Management
Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
Strategically plan out warehouse, plan routes & deliverables
Remain on call for emergencies

Experience, Qualifications & Skills required:

- 2 Years experience as Warehouse Manager in a fast-moving environment Retail industry would be ideal!

- Matric coupled with qualification relating to Logistics / Warehouse or Distribution

- Valid drivers license & own reliable vehicle

- Strong leadership skills & able to develop team individuals so they achieve their full potential

- Ability to create, manage & improve management reports
