The role requires an experienced workshop manager with excellent organisational and problem solving skills. You will be responsible for overseeing functions relating to both fabrication and service of components in the stored energy industry. • Managing fabrication department, service technicians and support staff. • Conduct biannual KPI reports with all workshop and service staff. • Provide in house training to all staff. • Ensuring deadlines are met and driven from management with regards to projects. • Managing logistics (collection and deliveries). • Stock control. • Buying of monthly stock for all departments. • Knowledge of SYSPRO. • Scheduling and overseeing standby teams monthly. • Regular site and customer visits to ensure customer service is to satisfactory level. • Assisting with the operation of the branch. • Ensuring efficient use of the company's equipment and resources. • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. • An insight into fabrication. • Computer skills. • Matric certificate. • At least 2 years Workshop Management experience. • Materal Handling / Stored Energy exposure (advantageous). • Negotiation Skills.
