Emphasizing their presence with over 150 offices, across 6 continents, our client seeks the expertise and skills of a Cloud FinOps Consultant. Education: Minimum 4-year relevant Academic Degree with Honours (B Eng / BSc Degree Preferred) MBA / master's advantageous English (French and/or Arabic advantageous) Relevant certification/accreditation/membership with professional body as required for role (e.g. Certified Finops Practitioner by Linux Foundation, AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator etc.) Experience: Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in IT with proven experience in cloud Minimum 3 years' experience in cloud finops, or equivalent related to finops Minimum 3 years of relevant sector/industry/area of specialisation (e.g. relevant consulting or industry experience and large scale, enterprise-class consulting, or systems integration experience) Proficiency in Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and related concepts on the public cloud. Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud environments Working knowledge / Hands-on experience of financial modelling / analysis, cloud-native and 3rd party cloud cost management & advisory tools Sound knowledge of cost optimization levers, and value realization frameworks Experience with cloud economics, cloud service and pricing models. Understanding of the basic Finance & Accounting principles (budgeting, accruals, NPV, ROI etc.) Associate or higher-level certification of public cloud providers Experience in working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
