Our client based in northern cape is looking for an innovative and vibrant individual to join their organisation for the position of Resident Engineer. To manage and implement delegated aspects of the Quality / HSE management systems and control site supervision service provision in support of the Contracts Engineer or other Senior Manager in their implementation of Site and Transport Department goals for performance improvement and completion of project functions. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Construction Monitoring Monitoring and reporting on Contractor's approved programme. Implement Engineer's quality control plan. Site audits, inspection, quality control testing, approval and rejection of any work. Measurement and certification of completed work inclusive of cash flow forecasts. Supervision of traffic accommodation arrangements. Monitoring of the third party claims, if any. Regular site meetings with Employer and Contractor. Assist site staff with technical knowledge. Client liaison and requests. Ensure Orginisation standards, policies and procedures are adhered to. 2. Assistance in ensuring that Orginisation receives a clean administrative and financial audit from our Clients. Ensure the as-built information as recorded is in compliance to the specified scope of the works. Technical report writing. 4. Mentorship Guide site staff and students through the administrative functions on site. 5. General Confidentiality Contribute To The Ongoing Development Of The Business Unit . Perform Duties Commensurate With The Responsibilities Of The Roles And Ad Hoc Projects As Required From Time To Time. Cooperate And Comply With Internal And External Regulations. Qualification and Experience Minimum Code 08 Driver's License Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Registered as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng with ECSA.
